INGREDIENTS
Dough
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup hemp hearts
- ¼ cup whole wheat oats
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Toppings
- Tomato sauce
- Italian seasoning
- Nutritional yeast
- Small amount of cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Put all dough ingredients in Kitchen Aid mixer with the bread paddle and mix until thoroughly combined. If the dough is too dry add a tablespoon of water. If dough is to wet add a tablespoon of flour. Dough should be soft but not sticky
- Lightly flour your work area and a rolling pin then roll dough into a 12-inch circle using your hands (to make 2 smaller pizzas, divide the dough into 2 and roll into 2 8 inch pizzas.
- Transfer the pizza dough to a nonstick pizza base or a large baking tray. Spoon the sauce over the pizza. Cover with remaining toppings.
- Bake the pizza for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown. Slice and enjoy!
NOTES
- To store raw pizza dough make sure it is tightly covered with cling wrap. Keep in fridge for up to 24 hours.
- To store left over pizza, cover in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
