Apple Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 apples, quartered with seeds and stem removed
  • Cinnamon
  • ½ cup water
  • 2-3 pitted dates

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Turn oven on to 350F.
  2. Place the apples on a cookie sheet, skin side down.
  3. Generously sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Cook for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
  5. Transfer to Vitamix with water and pitted dates. Blend until smooth.

NOTES

  • Save extra in airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Variation: add 2 carrots to recipe. Roast and blend with apples.
